Club Time Trial Thursday 24 May

Congregation area
Our club time trial this Thursday will now be held on the Barton F16/10 course due to road works affecting our planned event at Bottisham.

Unfortunately this change means we can no longer run this week's event as a "come and try it" and I apologise for any disappointment this causes to anyone who was planning to come along for the first time. However non-club members are still welcome to attend but they will need to pay the day membership fee of £5.

First rider off at 19:00pm. Guest riders (being members of other CTT affiliated clubs) sign on at 6:40pm - entry fee £3.

Any questions please contact me: time trial secretary.

Club time trial - Thursday 24 May

Congregation area
Update Wednesday 23 May 18:00

Due to the traffic lights at Bottisham, we are hoping to run tomorrow's TT at Barton F16/10 pending final confirmation. Unfortunately this means we will not be able to run the event as a 'come and try it'. Please keep checking the blog for updates!

Our Club Time Trial on Thursday 24 May is a Come and Try It event at Bottisham. Here is the course which starts at Bottisham on the A1303. Riders proceed eastwards towards Newmarket, circling the roundabout and retracing to the finish at Bottisham.

Unlike our normal club events, you do not have to be a member of a cycling club to enter. No preference is given to CCC members - it is a case of first come first served. Why not give it a go?

There is no entry fee to ride this event.

You must be at least 12 years old and if under age 18 we require a completed Parental Consent for club events. No special equipment or clothing is necessary but if under 18 you must wear an approved helmet.

We recommend that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to your bike in a position visible to following road users and is active whilst riding the event.

First rider off at 19:01. If you are new to time trialling, we suggest you arrive before 18:30 so we have time to familiarise you.
