Cycling is a weather-dependent activity. Out on the road, weather can
have a big impact on your performance, comfort and even your safety. In
this talk, John King, a meteorologist at the British Antarctic Survey,
will explain how weather forecasts are made
and how you can make best use of the many sources of weather
information available when planning rides.
The talk will take place at 7pm on Thursday 12 January in the James Dyson Building at Cambridge University Dept. of Engineering.
This event is free for members on production of their membership card.
Guests are welcome - a contribution of £2 towards expenses would be appreciated.
