Thread: Cambridge velodrome, road circuit and BMX track - Open meeting

Grosvenor and their development partner
Wrenbridge have recently announced a second option for the sporting provision at the proposed Cambridge Sporting Village at Trumpington which includes options for an outdoor velodrome, along the lines of the one recently built at Bournemouth, a closed road circuit and BMX track. Grosvenor and Wrenbridge would be keen to present these ideas to the cycling community and understand their thoughts on what is proposed.

Now is the time to influence the cycling provision being provided and learn how you can help make this happen.

The Cambridge Sporting Village project seeks to address the lack of playing facilities for sports including hockey, rugby, cycling, football and climbing and has the support of Sport England, England Hockey, British Cycling, Cambridgeshire FA and Cambridgeshire RFU.

A presentation and Q&A session is being held at 7 30 PM on Tuesday 21 January at Trumpington Meadows Primary School, Kestrel Rise, Trumpington , Cambridge, CB2 9AY.

All are welcome to attend this open meeting.
