Seeing as it now June, You wouldn't have got great odds on a punt that Ken Platts was going to take his first victory of the season in the Club evening series any week soon. For the record, it was yesterday evening when Platts clocked 21Mins 35 secs (27.8MPH average) on the Sawston based E33/10a. Andy Hudson finished the 10 mile TT in second place just 7 sec behind Platts. Andy Strickland who sits at the top of the morris shield league -Platts is in 9th- finished in 22 mins 21 secs. Sandwiched between Hudson and Strickland was Andre Dyason (PCA Ciclos Uno) 21mins 46 secs.
Fastest female was Rachel Fenton (CUCC) 26mins 22 secs with Barbara Leverett ( CtriC) in 2nd with 27mins 46 seconds. Phil Skogstad a new member riding his first time trial for a good many years clocked 28mins 4 secs.Junior member Felix Barker put in a great effort to clock 27mins 20 secs.
